Disaster Relief in Greater Montreal: U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Self-Storage to Flood Victims

MONTREAL, Que. (May 5, 2017) — U-Haul Companies of Eastern Quebec and Western Quebec are offering 30 days of free-self storage and U-Box container usage to residents in and around Montreal who have been or will be impacted by flooding.

Greater Montreal has taken on extensive water due to heavy rains. Flooded streets and homes in several municipalities have created the need for secure and dry self-storage options where people can keep their possessions.

“These rising water levels continue to plague many of our communities,” said Claude Boucher, U-Haul Company of Western Quebec president. “Residents are being evacuated and we are expecting more rain this weekend.”
