U-Haul Offers 30 Days of Free Self-Storage to Tornado Victims in Georgia

JEFFERSON, Ga. (Dec. 30, 2016) — U-Haul Company of Georgia Northeast is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to Georgia residents who were affected by the tornado that touched down earlier this week.

A twister ripped through more than 25 homes in Jackson County while also causing significant damage to trees and powerlines.

“The storms were devastating to this area and we want to be there for our neighbors,” said U-Haul Company of Georgia Northeast president Rod Tape. “Many homes were damaged and families have suffered great loss. We want to offer a secure place for these individuals to store their things until they can get back on their feet. Especially during the holidays, it is important that we help in any way we can.”

With U-Box containers, you can conveniently pick up our custom-designed trailer and take your U-Box container with you.
