FREDERICK, Md. (May 18, 2018) — U-Haul Company of Baltimore is offering 30 days of free self-storage to residents who have been or will be impacted by heavy rains and flooding in Frederick.

Steady rains and flash floods have shut down roads and caused many homes to incur water damage.

“Some communities were seeing six inches of rain in a single hour,” U-Haul Company of Baltimore president Mike Finkelstein said. “Frederick Mayor Michael O’Connor has issued a state of emergency as more rain is expected in the forecast.”
