U-Haul Extends 30 Days Free Storage ahead of Tropical Storm Sally

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Sept. 13, 2020) — U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage to Louisiana residents who stand to be affected by Tropical Storm Sally moving through the Gulf of Mexico.

The tropical storm is expected to become a hurricane before making landfall on Tuesday in Louisiana, potentially created flooding issues.

“Louisiana is still recovering from Hurricane Laura, so we’re extending our free self-storage offer as we prepare for another wave of wind and rain,” said Patrick Allen, U-Haul Company of Southern Louisiana president. “People in need can bring their valued possessions to any of our participating facilities at no cost for one month.”
