Wildfire Relief: U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Self-Storage in Kelowna

KELOWNA, B.C. (July 15, 2021) — U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container usage at two area facilities to residents impacted by the ongoing wildfires in British Columbia.

Many communities are being asked to prepare for evacuations as more than 300 fires burn around the province.

“The recent hot and dry conditions have made fighting these fires difficult,” stated Horace Martin, U-Haul Company of British Columbia president. “With evacuation orders in place, people leaving their homes may be seeking storage to protect their personal belongings. We are offering help at two of our stores for anyone in need.”
