FALL RIVER, Mass. (July 15, 2025) — Four U-Haul^® stores have extended the Company’s disaster relief program to victims of the fire that erupted Sunday at the Gabriel House assisted living facility, offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box^® container usage to anyone in need.

The five-alarm blaze engulfed the building, resulting in a number of fatalities and leaving other residents displaced.

Access to secure self-storage and portable moving containers can aid communities and provide a needed service to families during the recovery and relocation process.

The 30 days free offer applies to new self-storage and U-Box rentals and is based on availability. The U-Box portable container offer is for on-site storage at Company centers.
