U-Haul is encouraging the public to send photos of their moving adventures, past and present to be featured in eye-catching collages on the sides of U-Haul In-Town moving vans

PHOENIX (Feb. 10, 2014) — Your U-Haul moving journey starts here! #MyUhaul Journey is a community event starring YOU! When you share your moving photos with U-Haul you could be featured on the side of a U-Haul moving truck.

To kick off this program, this month U-Haul will be choosing our favorite fan photos to win prizes. Each week a fan can win a Boxman Toy and the Fan Photo of the Month wins a U-Haul Bike.

“This is a celebration of moving families and their experiences over the years,” stated Joe Shoen, chairman U-Haul International, Inc. “This is a great way for us to customize our trucks with real customers’ experiences and showcase the various uses of our equipment over the years.”

U-Haul wants all photos, especially historical photos, of U-Haul moving and self-storage products, fun photos of pets, marriage proposals or just photos of a good, old-fashioned move. All of these are examples of what U-Haul is looking for. Visit uhaul.com/myphotos to see what others have already submitted.

How to submit your photo

To get your photo on the side of a U-Haul truck, submit your photo using any of the four options listed below.

Visit uhaul.com/myphotos and upload photos from your computer or smart phone. If you have an historical photo that is not digital – easy – just take a picture of it and submit.
Use Hashtag #myuhaul on Instagram. (Your account must have public visibility.)
Email the photos to myphotos@uhaul.com.
Send photos by U.S. Mail to

Customers’ photos will be featured on the side of 5,000 moving vans traveling across North America. Submit any image related to your U-Haul moving or self-storage experience and it may end up in a collage of photos on the side of U-Haul moving equipment.
