Will Wolff III Named President of U-Haul Company of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – (Dec. 22, 2011) Executive Vice President (EVP) Chuck Hertzler and Area District Vice President (ADVP) Nick Marra jointly announced today that Will Wolff III has been promoted to Marketing Company President (MCP) of UHC of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island.

Wolff began his U-Haul career in April 2002 as a customer service representative (CSR) at U-Haul of St. Paul in Minnesota. A few months later, Wolff was promoted to General Manager (GM) at U-Haul of St. Paul, where he worked for a few years before transferring to the U-Haul Company of Manhattan/Bronx as a Marketing Company Storage Manager (MCSM). In April 2005, Wolff became an Executive Assistant (EA) and shortly thereafter spent a brief while as Field Relief Manager (FRM) for U-Haul Company of Manhattan/Bronx. Beginning in 2005, Wolff transferred back and forth between EA and FRM for U-Haul Company of Manhattan/Bronx, and most recently was serving as FRM, the position he held until his recent promotion. Today, Wolff will oversee all operations of U-Haul Company of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island, including truck, trailer and storage rentals. His U-Haul experience, knowledge and dedication certainly will lead U-Haul Company of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island down the path of success.

“With Will’s experience and positive can-do attitude, I know he will be a great leader of his team,” ADVP Marra affirmed. “Over the years, Will has proven himself to be a great asset to this Company, and I am truly looking forward to working with him.”

In assuming his new role as president, Wolff is very enthusiastic about the top-notch team members throughout U-Haul Company of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island, and the solid foundation already established. Wolff explains that knowledge is power, and with the help of U-Haul University, he plans on further educating his entire team, which he believes will continue to be the key to their success. He is looking forward to increasing business, and plans on achieving success three ways: first, by following the Primary Service Objective; secondly, by adhering to the U-Haul customer service policy; third, by implementation of the programs and procedures that have been developed over the last 66 years. Wolff knows U-Haul offers the best products and services and has the right tools to sell them, and is hopeful that with proper marketing implementation, his marketing company will succeed. His team is a top performer and Wolff is looking forward to the constant challenges of taking U-Haul Company of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island to the next level.

“I see many great opportunities and huge potential in U-Haul Company of Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island, and am very excited to have the opportunity to bring U-Haul programs to life in order to tap into a bigger chunk of the huge market in New York City,” Wolff explained. “I know that my team is up for the challenge, and I will support them every step of the way. I eagerly anticipate the professional and personal growth that we will achieve together.”
